"Spoilers: so Ned says he's milk brothers with Jon Snow, whose mother is Wylla. This conversation makes me disbelieve some of the fan theories about Jon (R+L=J) because of how similar this is to Robb. Maybe I need to review the theory and maybe Wylla is just a name used though it doesn't seem so. I'm open for more enlightenment."

I know I've read this one I just can't remember a thing about it except a little of Jon snow ending up in Mace's troup

This was where I really fell in love with the series. Jaime became one of my favorite characters, which I never would have thought possible and the infamous Red Wedding. I know there was some good stuff with the Brotherhood without banners, but honestly, I'm really due for a reread. Feast for Crows has me forgetting where everyone else (who I like) is.
Hmm. I stopped at the second book. I'm not even watching the hbo series this season.

I need to watch this season still. I didn't like Season 2 as much as Season 1, minus Episode 9: Blackwater

Me neither. Most Lannisters (looking at the larger family tree) are no worse than others. They have a few bad seeds who happen to attract a lot of attention (Tywin and Joffrey), but honestly looking at the Targaryens and Boltons I dare say there are worse than the Lannisters. I suppose it has to do with people rooting for the Starks, although I much prefer the Lannisters to them. They are much more interesting.
