The Newspaper Nanny is THAT reading of the month; quick and light, fun, cute and heartwarming, all in one! it's just that you can never go wrong with a single parent trope and grumpy-sunshine dynamic 🥰.
Liam Cartright got his dream job as a NHL coach, but now he needs a nanny to watch his two little girls, and he needs to find her NOW! That's how he ended up with an ad in the newspaper classifieds, who even reads that in these times? he's so lost. Following her Sunday ritual, Juliet Michaels found the perfect job for her, that way she can quit her horrible job and take care of her grandmother. The girls adored her from the first moment she set foot in her house, but their dad, −this grumpy hockey coach that she met the day before without knowing would be her future boss, suddenly doesn't seens so happy to have her around.
The main characters, although diametrically opposed, were meant for each other. They were both super likeable, even when Liam was being his broody self, putting these high walls between him and Juliet. And Juliet was something else! She was so kind and caring of everyone around her, and her immediate bond with the girls was such a cute thing to read, the same with the way she took care of her Nana. And Liam's daughters were the icing on the cake. I love books with kids as comic relief, and these two little girls, along with Nana's witty comebacks, were one of the most fun things to read.

no blurb, no nothing, that's how easy i am... i see a cute (temporary i think) cover and my expectations are already through the roof 🤗
