γ…� ‍‍‍‍‍β€� I really picked up this series again thinking that, after I was hurt once, 5 years ago, by the insanely painful moments this book especially puts you through, there is no chance for it to hurt just as much again. I was so positively wrong.

γ…� ‍‍‍‍‍β€� I still have absolutely no words for how shocking and harsh the last 100 pages of this book actually are. This has always been one of my favourite books in the series, only due to the beautiful bonding moments you get between the characters and how everything slowly comes together to form this utterly mind-blowing plot. However, it is also one of the books I hate the most in this entire series, exactly due to the insane pain it puts you through while having to read the events of the last part of the book. Despite it all,I am in love with these characters and 5 years in between my first and second reading of this novel only proved that nothing has changed for me. I am still Aelin's biggest supporter, Rowan's b*tch greatest admirer, Dorian's protector, Aedion's biggest defender (despite him being annoying at times) and so on so forth. I just simply adore them all.

γ…� ‍‍‍‍‍β€� I do feel sorry I did not get the chance to write a review back when I did my first read of this series, because I know my reaction to the events here would have been absolutely insane and probably the funniest thing to ever encounter. But, despite not being just as genuine as the first time I read this, my marvel towards this novel and series as a whole is still absolutely the same. From the slow development of new relationships to the strengthening of the bond between some of the characters, the absolutely gorgeous badass moments, the new allies and the exquisite shows of magic and strength, everything in this book is taken to the greatest level; it definitely sets a very high bar in terms of fantasy books and series.

γ…� ‍‍‍‍‍β€� I still absolutely stand by what I said many times and I will never stop repeating it: Throne of Glass is one of the best fantasy series out there and you are definitely missing on such an insanely amazing plot and world by not picking this up.
