Sense and Sensibility

I had trouble deciding whether this book warranted four or five stars. I ultimatley went with five stars, though I did prefer both Pride and Prejudice and Emma to Sense and Sensibility. It just didn't seem fair to rate a Jane Austen novel against her other books.
As can be predicted, this novel canvassed many of the same themes covered in other Jane Austen novels; marriage, relationships, manners, etc. However, I did find the dialogue in this novel to be somewhat less comedic than in both Emma and Pride and Prejudice. The villains in this novel were more comparatively evil as well.

I can't wait to read Persuasion.
