“Everything’s a game, Avery Grambs. The only thing we get to decide in this life is if we play to win.
I did enjoy this book a lot! Especially since the main character and I share a name, I've been yelling at the book more often basically saying, "That is NOT something I would do!!" even though we aren't the same people. It's so odd reading about someone who shares the same name as you, and I veered away from this book because of that, but I picked it up.
Also, I feel like I was fine about this book. A lot of people LOVED it, while I feel like it was fine and I won't remember anything about this book and I don't really want to reread it before I start the second book. I don't even remember what happened actually, now that I think about it.
Anyways, I can kinda see Avery is getting herself into a bit of a love triangle. I hope she makes the right choice, if she ends up with one. (GRAYSON FOR LIFE)
Jameson just gives me bad vibes (don't ask me why, I don't even know) and I just don't like him that much. Cold hearted guys in business suits any day.

ANYWAYS, highly enjoyable, and I liked the puzzle/mystery aspect, with all the plot twists, and I liked the majority of the characters. Most of the time.
3.5 stars

I've yet to read The Hawthorne Legacy, but hopefully I enjoy it!
