One of the best Vorkosigan books, we have Mark imitating Miles and taking over the Dendarii for a revenge mission on the evil Jackson's Whole. Almost any other discussion of plot points here would be major spoilers because there is a LOT of action and many, many surprises (on the George R R Martin scale surprises). I loved the idea of the Mirror Dance itself (a Barrayan traditional dance where the partners mirror each other's moves) and how Bujold molds and evolves Mark's character into someone so much more interesting than when we first met him in Brothers in Arms. There are almost no pauses in the narrative and it is perfectly paced. No wonder it won the Hugo and Nebula as it is a superb piece of science fiction and my favorite Vorkosigan novel so far!
