Holy fuck this story was an absolute MASTERPIECE. It was heartbreaking, it was healing, it was BEAUTIFUL. Zade was just perfection. The way he helped and pushed Addie was continuously fighting for her had me SWOONING. This man is a whole other breed let me tell ya.
Adeline's character development was so insane. Watching her grow into the beautiful and strong badass she is was so amazing. She is just incredible, like seriously. Reading what she was going through made my heart ache, but the way she fucking proved to those ugly ass mole rats that she is, and always will be, so much more powerful than them was fucking phenomenal. Addie truly is a precious, rare gem way fucking more than a regular old diamond.
I fucking LOVEDDDD it when she chopped [redacted] dick off. I CHEERED!!
Sibby was the perfect balance to the story. It is very dark and heavy so having the henchmen-loving, orgy-crazy doll made the whole thing so much better. That girl had me cracking up every time she talked.
The Cat & Mouse duet is truly one of a kind! I am so fucking sad that it is over and yet so fucking happy Zade and Addie got the ending they deserve.
And real quick I would just like to thank my period 😒 for joining me on this adventure. You truly just made it a whole other kind of experience 😐

I really loved the first book but I couldn't find it in me to start the second one cz of the trigger warnings and I'm literally afraid that I won't be able to stomach all that Addie had to suffer.

I just marked this as a book that I want to read. However, I first want to read the first of the series. Please give me its title.
I read it in January and to this point I can’t really get over their story - for me it’s no comparison - Zade to be how he is to her considering how strong of a character he is - it’s amazing Her healing journey is absolutely heartbreaking as it is empowering - for her to become her better self is truly amazing
I read their short story that happens before satan,s affair and seeing her as innocent as she was considering how strong she became was quite a challenge
For me personally Hunting Adeline was the story of 2022
But as you said - it’s dark - truly it’s not for everyone - but for those that it is for - priceless

Addie's growth was so well done with the highs and lows, how healing isn't linear. It was refreshing to see a character who wasn't 'fine' after a traumatic experience and to see that the healing wasn't glossed over! You can definitely see the changes in Addie from the beginning of book one to the end of book two.
And ZADEE throughout the process 😩 he was so freaking good to her.
Agreed, nothing I have read this year has come close to Hunting for me! It had put me in a reading slump after I finished because it was so darn good!
I liked this book too, it is really beautiful.
