KC WOW! this book definitely made me cringe in some parts and I got the chills. I couldn't wait to tell my friends about the plot line and right when I thought I knew how it was going to end, I was wrong. I could imagine everything clearly in my head and I wouldn't be surprised if this book turned into a movie. It is worth the read if you are okay with reading disturbing content.

SPOILERS below

I thought the meeting between Jeremy and Lowen for the first time was a little quick-paced and unbelievable. I would've liked to learn a little bit more about the characters and more on the relationship between Jeremy and Lowen. However, this was not meant to be a romance book in my opinion. The descriptive writing of So Be It was so good, I even felt a little creeped out reading so late at night-- like Verity was secretly watching me somewhere. I accepted how the book ended, but then I went online to TikTok and saw how there's a huge debate between the truth: team letter or team manuscript? I think after really reflecting on a lot of things -- the scar, Verity's parents, April's protectiveness, Crew's anxious reaction, Jeremy's love for Harper, Verity faking it despite being rich and famous enough to probably get help -- I'm team manuscript! The letter is too small of an explanation for the entirety of the manuscript. I'm just surprised she didn't hurt Lowen. That's the only thing that would've confirmed it for me.
