Taylor Jenkins Reid just has that little extra in her stories! Her writing is excellent and so relatable.

I listened to this and it was narrated by the great Julia Whelan. Her delivery of each character is amazing!

The story of the dysfunctional Riva family was highly entertaining. Part 1 was easily 5 stars! I enjoyed the backstory about Mick and June Riva in the 1950's and 60's. I envisioned a Frank Sinatra type of singer in Mick.

Part 2 at the famous yearly, "Riva" summer party in 1983 was very entertaining but I felt that there were too many characters introduced as a sort of, "backstory." In saying this, it was just a very small quibble.

Hands down to another fantastic book by the superb Taylor Jenkins Reid!

The writing is excellent but honestly Bahni is just so fab with all her voices!

Oh my gosh you are soooo right!!! I love both of them. Don't know how I mixed that up but thank-you! I did know it was Julia but why I got fixated on Bahni I don't know! I will fix it now!! Duh.....🤭
