I'm SOOOO sad that I hated this book🙈 I was so excited going into this book because the plot sounds sooo good but I ended up DNFing it before page 100. I think thats the fastest I've ever DNFed a book. I just could not get into the writing style. There were so many characters I kept getting confused and nothing was holding my interest.

Omg I’m currently reading it and I’m so confused as well with the names!! So sad, since the premise of the book sounded so good� but I’m thinking of dnfing it as well 🥺
That’s the thing with this book, it’s a best seller. Not best rated. It’s a ploy for money and being over displayed. I started the second book and it was the first book I’ve ever DNF’ed more of a play for money
Yeah.. I rated this book 3 stars but it really wasn’t that good? I kept getting soo confused with all the characters and the ending was a bit disappointing. I’m still going to continue with the series and hope for the best :/Update:
I read the next book in the series and rated it 5 stars so�!!!

It was also kinda sad at the end. You didn’t miss much.
I just about managed to finish this book, it was so hard tho I found it really hard to follow too, I couldn't even be bothered to read the others. One of my work colleagues hated it too.
The plot sounded like everything I've ever wanted in a book but I experienced the same thing as you! I DNFed thus book and I was so sad but I just found it so incredibly boring! :(
My bookclub is reading it for November. I feel like it’s very jumpy. Like you don’t know who ,what ,where. I’m only on page 54 and it’s like listening to too many people talking at once about strands of one conversation.
I was sad too! The writing style is so weird and it was so hard to read it because it was kinda boring... but after page 180 it gets interesting, there were plottwists that had my jaw drop! 3.5 stars for me. Love you btw!

Well, I made it to chapter 8. I really wanted to like this book. I just couldn’t. I can’t finish it.

Exactly how I felt about this book. Too many characters and it got confusing. I could not focus on it to save my life.

Have you read The Marlow Murder Club? It's similar but I did actually enjoyed it.
I’m the same. DNF. Was desperately trying to enjoy it as it had had good reviews but found myself bored stiff by it.
Same same same. Dnf this one. And I haven't done that in a long while. Not only were there so many characters, it fails to make me care about them. So I'm not going to torture myself with this one. Waste of a really good title IMHO.
I should have taken your path and ditched this travesty of a book.
