It does, doesn't it? Even if an author plans on extending the story to multiple installments, he still has to honor the closing of his stages. I read this novel, and I can see your point!

I really enjoyed the film on this one (wont be reading it as well) - imagine it as a slow burner. some really good acting in the film, could feel the despair.

I am a Roomi Rapace fan mind, so maybe a tad biased :D but the leads are very good.
