I thought I'll be okay...but CoHo got me again!
First, let me complain. I have mixed feelings about Kenna. I could be judgemental and view what happened on that fateful night as unforgivable. Five years in prison seems a bit light. Also, I didn't like how CoHo made Kenna gorgeous. Would we feel empathy if she's fugly? Would she be working at the bar if it weren't for her looks that got "his" attention?🤷♀�
I was really indecisive with my rating, it could really go either way between a 3 to a 5. Don't get me wrong, I very much enjoyed the book. I like Hoover's writing and her storytelling AND her characters - especially the characters. Then the last few chapters hit me hard with so many emotions!! I just didn't think by that point I'll have any sniffles, but I was WRONG.
I love that the novel left my heart warm and fuzzy. Definitely a new favorite. 💖

Grudges are heavy, but for the people hurting the most, I suppose forgiveness is even heavier.

I have just purchased my first book by Colleen Hoover (It ends with us). Can´t wait to start reading it. Am curious what you think of the copy you´re reading...Enjoy!

Sounds intriguing. I just used some of my points to get Verity from Snag. That will be my first Hoover novel. When I finally get to it anyway 😬
