Pluto_reads yes it is

message 2: by Megan (new)

Megan I don't know but godspeed. I got about halfway through and never finished. I did like what I read, but I got too busy and it took too much concentration during a busy phase of life.

message 3: by Aimee (new) - added it

Aimee this has been on my shelf unread for approximately 8 years. also yes, 1,000+ pages is possible and, in fact, is fun!

message 4: by Erika (new) - added it

Erika Pensaert I read the e-book. Too heavy.

message 5: by K (new) - rated it 5 stars

K D I first read this book sometime in the 20th Century. It's really great!
I should read it again in this century....

James Black The longest book I’ve ever read and possibly my favourite. Go for it! 😀

message 7: by emma (new) - added it

emma asked and answered!

message 8: by JonEb (new) - added it

JonEb Indeed. I managed to do 1376 pages but it took me about three months 😩😩

Isaiah I used the Serial Reader app. I got a small chunk delivered to my phone every day. Made it a bit less heavy.

Audrey I've read longer.

I did the audiobook without really knowing how long it was, and I guessed it was 700 pages. It did not feel that long.

message 11: by nick (new) - added it

nick I’m definitely a reader with BBF (big book fear), but I’d like to read this book at least once in my lifetime :))

Ayesha (Seokjin's Version) ☾ after reading les mis, i will say it is hard but not impossible

Ayden Worth it!!!

Audrey Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive books are this long.

message 22: by Kashton (new) - added it

Kashton Webster yes. the reading for this book goes surprisingly quick as well

message 25: by Fae (new) - rated it 2 stars

Fae I mean I did it. It took me months. I don't recommend it but it is possible with enough time and dedication.

Samuel Black Just keep reading, you’ll finish it in no time.

message 28: by Gayle (new) - added it

Gayle Was thinking the same thing- easy peasy3- 400 page books! How often have we done that?

message 29: by Phil (new) - rated it 4 stars

Phil reading_fastandslow There’s a decent abridged version - Tor classics version. The beginning especially is a slog.

message 30: by Sterling (new) - added it

Sterling Molla Takes me literally an hour to read a chapter because old language trips me up but it’s so good!

message 36: by Phil (new) - rated it 5 stars

Phil Audiobook

Sarah-Kathryn i read a 600-some page abridged version twice and it remains my favorite book of all time... my life goal is to read the unabridged version eventually (which i could've done in the time it took to read it twice). Plus don't you read like a page a minute? Haha

message 38: by Jenna (new)

Jenna I managed it at 14. So so so worth it!

message 39: by Jess (new)

Jess *Laughs in Stormlight Archive*

Audrey Jess wrote: "*Laughs in Stormlight Archive*"

LOL. Exactly.

Caroline Miller I am absolutely loving it. I’m very close to done (I have less than a hundred pages left) and so far it has taken me just over three weeks to read. The key is to also listen to parts of it as an audiobook. It is legit one of the best books I’ve ever read

𝑊𝑦𝑏𝑖𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑟𝑛 𓂀 𝑡𝑜 𓆣 𝑑𝑖𝑒 This is my favourite book and I read it when I was 15 (I did have a lot of time to kill) so believe me you won’t regret it. It’s an epic revenge story.

message 43: by Jos (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jos Yes it is

Susan Kay I am about halfway through and really enjoying it, but I do confess to skimming a few pages here and there when it gets excessively wordy.

Aevon You can read it in about 4-5 days(maybe even less) if you're a fast reader, but I would recommend against it. It's a really enjoyable book. Take your time and enjoy the story, you don't have to rush it.

message 46: by :) (new) - rated it 4 stars

:) It's worth it.
Masterpiece

message 47: by Ele (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ele (Taylor's Version) Yes, it took me almost 3 months but it was def worth it

message 48: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth V'R You can make it a project for a year. Read other books as well. I did that with Books of Jacob.
