Fourteen contestants from all different backgrounds and locations are brought together for a week long hide and seek game after being told the winner will receive $50,000 payout. No one knows where the game is taking place until the bus drops them all off at a deserted and decaying Amusement park where they learn their days will be spent hidden (praying not to get found) and nights sleeping on hard cots just outside the grounds.
Each competitor comes with baggage and has a fierce personal drive to win. Some at all costs...
After day one it becomes apparent the game is not being played how they all imagined. Why are some players not returning every evening? With their numbers dwindling every evening it becomes clear things are not as they first thought. Unfortunately, quitting is not an option...

Good review. The plot sounds intense, and wanted to read this when it came out, but reviews were mixed then.
