did not like it

Wow. I hated this. Olivia was completely unlikable and obnoxious. She wasn't unlucky, she was just an inconsiderate asshole. It is not cute to treat someone who is graciously letting you stay in their flat after you burnt down yours (!!!). This is petty but it was truly galaxy brain to me when the author wrote something about the love interest (I cannot remember his name, but he was very boring and didn't have a personality beyond being very hot and rich) owning a sterling silver colander. Babe, those don't exist. Do you mean stainless steel? I know it's so minor, but it truly took me out of the story so much.

katelyn. STOP, the sterling silver colander took me OUTTTTT. I was like bitch what are you doing..
The whole book (the portion I actually finished) felt like a poorly executed ‘humor aimed to please young people kinda thing. i was really sad about it honestly.

maze It was so OTT and ✨quirky✨

Maria Was it actually sterling silver? I thought Olivia was just being dramatic or didn't know the difference in metals. Jeez this book.

Joy Pearson This! I spent the majority of the book disgusted by the behavior of the MCs. I really disliked Olivia, she was an unapologetic brat. I thought it was BS when Colin realized he loved her because she lives life to the fullest despite the collateral damage in her wake. She’s messy and immature, it’s not cute.

Ihategiving Youmyemail OML I agree with this 1000% ! I'm like 60% through and I want to DNF this. Olivia is the most unlikable character I've ever read. She's so rude and bratty imo. Like when she was making spaghetti and meatballs for her brother and Colin, she made a mess and couldn't say sorry! She does so many annoying things. I tried to understand her in the beginning. She was a klutz and I was trying to be patient, bit as the story went on, I see how ungrateful and annoying she is and I can't stand her. I just- I'm so frustrated with this book right now. Thanks for this review.

Lindsay I had the “who the guy twist and “the big 70% through conflict pegged about 10 seconds after they were introduced.

This was as about as original as a Hallmark movie and after listening to two HIGHLY satisfying audiobooks right before this one, I just can’t help but be disappointed.

Anastasia RIGHT?! I totally agree Olivia is one of the most unlike able characters I’ve ever read!! and i’ve read a lot of books lol

Yari Agree!! I can’t finish this book. I’ve never disliked a character so much like I do Olivia.

Alo blossom I hated Olivia’s personality. She’s the kind of women I call “pick me she drank Colin’s tequila and instead on being sorry she started acting like a b*tch. Felt like “the one and only and kinda dizzy, hate her

Marie Omg yes! I can't believe she's an adult. She's so inconsiderate, rude, and unapologetic. I almost DNFed this book but managed to finish it because I kept hoping it will be better. But nope, even the ending was rushed. Olivia did not have any character development whatsoever. Did not even feel genuine chemistry between them aside from the sexual tension.
