** spoiler alert ** probably one of my favorite wc books. po3 is harder to rank than tnp because there are technically a lot of things wrong with it but i don't really, care? i enjoy it and i really like jayfeather after he got his full name.

this book is half travel book but it's not that bad and jayfeather's chapters are really good. after jayfeather after he becomes jayfeather is just an all around amazing character that carries the entire storyline by himself. AVoS jayfeather sucks but everything sucks in AVoS so it really does not matter.
tldr - i am a jayfeather stan

ok wait i also wanted to say, leafpool's reveal is not good. it's actually kinda cringe. it's just stiff and awkward, in my opinion.

honeyfern's death is also really quick. it's actually so sad because berrynose rebounds with.. her sister? um. and i feel like they're perfect for each other, honeyfern's sweet and soft-spoken & berrynose is kinda a loud asshole but he's got a soft spot for her. it's a background character relationship so it doesn't have as much impact on the story as other ships (like leafcrow, which is similar) but it's really sad. i really like sorreltail's first litter (cinderheart, poppyfrost, honeyfern) and im sad to see them go.
