Read 2 times. Last read June 1, 2024 to June 2, 2024.

This is the first book in Between the Earth and Sky series by a superb author, Rebecca Roanhorse. A fantasy story about love and sacrifice set in a universe of ancient meso-american culture and mythology, absolutely gripping. It is well written, fast paced, and has fantastic world-building and great characterisations. One of my top 5 reads of this year! I highly recommend.

carol. Good to hear! I will get to it... someday :)

Khalid Abdul-Mumin It's great, I'd say almost the same experience with the Dreamblood duology but a bit more expansive and detailed. Hope you like it whenever you get to it.
