Just finished the last novella, The Sins of Our Fathers, so I'm officially done with The Expanse. I enjoyed all these stories (okay mostly, Gods of Risk is the exception) and I so loooooove a couple of them (Strange Dogs and The Vital Abyss). But overall, I found these novellas and short stories essential reading in The Expanse. This book opens up the world/universe, it gives more depth to so many characters and places. I think Ty and Daniel quickly found their footing when writing shorter stories so whenever it was time to read a new novella before a full novel, it was just such a joy to discover a new piece of the puzzle in this universe. I'm gonna miss all these characters (except for David Draper, worst character in the whole series.)
