I’ve been struggling to read this book for 5 days now, and I’m still only halfway through. The characters are unlikable and the story is extremely slow…with nothing compelling me to continue reading.
After also being highly disappointed with the author’s last book, The Guest List, I’m thinking I may not be the right reader for her stories.

Fair enough! I think all of the accents on the Audible version really made the book for me! Hope you love your next! ❤️
Oh no! This one is on my TBR coming up soon. I didn’t read The Guest List because I heard it too similar to The Hunting Party which I thought was okay. Should I skip it?
i loved it but we do all have diffrent taste in all things :)

This is sad news� but not surprised� I’ve seen more disappointment in reviews than elation. Never a good sign.
