DNF at 52%.
I’ve been struggling to read this book for 5 days now, and I’m still only halfway through. The characters are unlikable and the story is extremely slow…with nothing compelling me to continue reading.
After also being highly disappointed with the author’s last book, The Guest List, I’m thinking I may not be the right reader for her stories.

Good call!

Thanks, Jayme!🤍 Glad you enjoyed the audible!

I enjoyed The Hunting Party, but they all seem to follow the same format. You could always give it a try, but just keep your expectations low. Lol!

I'm so glad you loved it, Aleksander! I really wanted to. Lol.

At least now I'm pretty confident that is the case, Melissa! :)

Thanks, Ceecee! I know...I wasn't expecting this, but just couldn't fathom reading any more.🤗

Thanks so much, Dorie! I'm so glad your experience with it was much more positive than mine. :)

Thanks, Terrie! I'm already more invested in my current read, and I just started it. :)

Thanks, Lisa! I couldn't imagine spending 5 more days on a mediocre story.

Thanks, Elena! You're so right about that!

Exactly, Jonathan. Thank you! I've DNF'd a few, but it's definitely rare.

Thanks, Justin! I tried hard to persevere, but knew it was mostly going to be a waste of time.
