What the hell did i just read?! Oh I see, there's two Fs on the cover. Oh right, this is going to be very silly indeed.

His Nursery Crime series was a bit of a disappointment, because there are only two (2) books. I liked the Thursday Next series better.

I have read The Eyre Affair, which was good, but somehow didn't really impress me. All my Jasper Fforde reading is at the behest of a friend. And after reading Early Riser last year my appreciation of him has skyrocketed. So I'm giving him another chance. I'm planning on reading the next Thursday Next book next.

I enjoyed the Nursery ones, but the Thursdays were very variable. Like a SNL joke, they went on far too long, with about 2.5 books out of the series actually enjoyable for me. I hope you have better luck!

um, no. Sorry I never got back to you. I didn't love the first, but it does provide a lot of helpful world-building.
