I swear to god, if one more book club member suggest another god forsaken Kristin Hannah book- I’ll dump a glass of wine on their head.
She wrote one good book. One. Onetime she wrote something decent. That is it. Never again. Stop trying to find redemption. She’s awful and writes the worst women characters. They’re all immature, self centered, and not real.
So this is not me recommending any of her books.

Hahahaha! Omg I hated The Nightingale and The Great Alone, but politely endured for book club.

The great alone might be my most hated of all her books. Although, firefly lane is right up there. How does she weasel her way Into all these book clubs???? Why!!!!!!
Not a favorite for me, either. Only read The Great Alone for Book Club. Not bad, not good, but ultimately not interested.
