*4.5* An arranged marriage between a human and a monster, with some smell kink and lots of miscommunication.
Remember in Monsters Inc, when they powered their city by frightening children, but soon learned laughter created more power than screams? This is an adult, monster romance version of that movie, at least that's my take! Fabulous side characters, and excellent writing. This was a fun, light, somewhat slow-burn monster romance.
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a BR since I hopped on part way through, but I'm thankful Isabella brought this gem to my attention.
″Come along, little wife,� I purred, wrapping my claws around her slim arm and guiding her towards the aisle. “You smell like a meal, and it’s time for the feast.�I LOVED the writing! It was sharp and hilarious.
There was definitely part of me that thought we should talk about this, but was I really going to argue with him when he was willing to tongue fuck me into a better mood? No. No, I was not. Let the tongue fucking commence.I also loved the premise of the story, and the first half was highly entertaining. How could you not enjoy a story with a line like this.
