Cheri I read about 80-90% of this book when I was probably around ten years old, and then we went on a family vacation (or something) and I couldn't find it after that. I'd invested so much time at that point but my mother refused to buy me another copy (the copy I'd been reading had been her copy) and so I never finished it. It did leave me with a longing to go to Hawaii, though! So glad you loved it, Leila!

Leila I found it fascinating Cheri and would read it again right now. I would gladly send it to you if you ever decide to read it again for I have two copies. I'm glad you did manage to read almost all of it at such a young age.

H (no longer expecting notifications) Balikov I was very taken with it the first time too, Leila. Tempting me to find time for it again.

Leila Sorry H, I missed you message here and came upon it by accident today. I know I would read and enjoy it again it is just finding the time for such a long book when there so many I still have to get through. It certainly merits a further read though and I remember being totally absorbed in this wonderful book.

Stacy One of my favorite authors! I am glad you are enjoying it!

H (no longer expecting notifications) Balikov I believe I am due for a second reading of this too, Leila

Julie G What a commitment--and you've read it twice?!

I am finding that I am going much slower this time...Do I:
1. Put it aside for a while?
2. Skip to the last chapters?
3. Say no to anything but reading this?
