really liked it

This is a sweet, delightful novel that had me believing that an octopus would make a great friend!
We meet three people- Tova, Cameron and Ethan and one giant octopus, Marcellus. All of them are searching for something, whether it be a connection or answers, even Marcellus. The author had me rooting for all of them. Marcellus definitely stole the show though. Are octopi really so smart and astute? Who knows but I decided to just go along with it.
A very quick, enjoyable read!

Bianca Very nice review, Antoinette. I'm fond of octopuses. I hope I get around to reading it, especially since I asked my library to purchase it. :-)

Diane Barnes I enjoyed this one too. I was ready to put it aside if it got too cute, but it never did. I thought it was entirely believable and was a nice interlude for me.

Debbie Wonderful, review, I loved this book, too. And it made me fond of octopuses, too!

Antoinette Thanks, Bianca! I hope your library gets it- it is a lovely read about making connections, even with an octupus.

Antoinette I agree, Diane. Never got too cute and a great break from the more serious books that I tend to read.

Antoinette Thanks, Debbie. I definitely understand now why so many people are falling in love with this book.
