I put this book off for so long because I was afraid to read about the animal abuse that takes place behind the curtains of the big circus tent.
I finally picked it up because it was voted as TNBBC's group read, and knew I couldnt put it off any longer.
I am so glad I braved my fear and read it. Being the only circus book I have read, I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was very well written. A quick read only becuase I didnt want to put it down!
I fell in love with Jacob (in both his young form, and his old form!). And I will always have a soft spot for Rosie as well.

Yeah Boof, it was such a great story. She wrote each character perfectly. At times, It was almost as though a movie was playing in my head....
