I discovered this little gem on audible the night before a planned 2 hour drive for the next morning on Florida’s dreaded I -4. I went to sleep with a smile on my face as I looked forward to what I hoped now was going to be a more pleasant drive. My expectations were exceeded and I was left with memories that are linked to this beloved story.

It began in the midst of WW2 . I felt as if I was sitting right next to a young girl who was a radio operator at work for the British listening intently as she tried to intercept any messages that she could to help win the war. The exhaustion and weariness of the war was evident . She can’t believe her ears as an unbelievable message comes across the airwaves and this is where I will stop. I believe that I was able to embrace the story more with virgin eyes and ears.
I will share that I loved where this story goes from here. Suspense Love History all are interwoven and I absolutely adored it! Especially recognizing that it all happens in less than an hour and a half. The other point I need to share is that being able to hear these voices share this story really brings it to life. I may have finished listening to the story but the truth is it is not one that I left behind.
