2 stars because it’s Tal Bauer but there isn’t anything worth talking about in this book. Just 2 guys who meet , fall in insta love, they start acting like drama queens and then start spewing love declarations in French (even the Texas guy speaks in French- no idea why since he says he doesn’t speak French) then they play some hockey , their teammates pretend they don’t know about them, one gets hurt , the other cries and spews more French mon amour and mon coeur , the cat’s out of the bag by now ( not that it ever was in the bag) , he heals, they play some more bland hockey and win . The end
No background , no interactions with family, friends or other ppl, no story , no angst ..Just I love you, Je t’aime, you’re my coeur the whole book. I DNF around 85 % . Gosh, I think it’s the worst Tal Bauer book ever!!
