I completely agree Dorie! This was a tired theme and there wasn't a character to support. Plus too much TMI! yuck 2 stars for me!

Exactly Jan, another domestic thriller set in an affluent suburb, it seems everyone with money and living in a nice suburb is filthy rich with spoiled kids, sex crazed and killers!! Ugh, I only read this because they kept bugging me to review it and I saw lots of 4 and 5*, can't trust ratings. I didn't see yours or I would never have continued with it!

I got this book and Dirt Creek mixed up. I really did not like Dirt Creek but I did like this 4 stars worth. I don't know how I do it, I was sound asleep and woke up suddenly, knowing that I had gotten this book mixed up with Dirt Creek. It all makes me look even crazier than I am. 🥴

Don't worry Marilyn, I'm right there with you, "brain fog" at times. I tried Dirt Creek many times and abandoned it! It didn't engage me at all and I knew it would end up being a 2* so that was a DNF for me!

Totally agree with you, even though it wasn't very long, it felt too much like been there done that and got kind of boring.
