it was amazing
bookshelves: read-in-school

Oh wow oh wow oh wow. How had I never read Eileen Chang before? She writes like a painting, with the most vivid imagery I’ve ever read. Her stories are masterfully crafted and explore so many important themes (didn’t read the golden cangue and red rose, white rose, but now i really want to)

Also, men are awful.
