it was amazing
bookshelves: children-s-books, for-henry

Love this series by Yamada! This one inspired a great conversation with my nephew, almost 5, about different ways of looking at, and therefore approaching, frustrations.

Barbara Oh this sounds like a great book! Especially for 5 year-olds. Maybe I should give it a gander myself!!!

Jennifer Welsh It’s really great, Barbara. Also loved the first in the series, “What do you do with an idea? Henry loves it, too :)

Mark Porton Nice one Jennifer, it sounds like a book any of us could benefit from. I'm guessing putting one's head in the sand and trying to forget the problem - doesn't get the thumbs up!!

Jennifer Welsh Haha, no, but it does show that temptation to do so, and the effects of that choice. It’s a full journey, in simple form!

Meghhnaa (On a Review-Writing Break!) Seems a very effective book. Shall surely give it a try, as need to find as many solutions and outlooks :) Thanks, Jennifer <3

Jennifer Welsh Haha, yes, this is a good source of encouragement, Meghna, as are all the books of his I’ve read.

Cheri I hadn't seen this one before, Jennifer, but I have some little ones in my family that I will have to get copies for after reading your review!

Jennifer Welsh Oh, Cheri, this author is wonderful! This is the second in a set of 3 - the first is Idea, the third, Chance. I got the first when my nephew was 3, and although he’s brilliant, he didn’t love it until age 4. Now he loves all 3, plus Maybe, which has my favorite illustrations. And as an added bonus, these are encouraging for adults! ☺️
