The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (The Hunger Games, #0)

I read the Hunger Games trilogy about 8 years ago and was completely engrossed in the story.
When this prequel came out I wasn’t too sure that I wanted to read it despite the great reviews.
Well the movie came out- my daughter & her friend loved it and that encouraged me to read this.
I was sucked right back into the world of Panem within the first few pages.
Snow was awful in the Hunger Games series and now you get to know his story. Spoiler alert- he is still awful. He is just as selfish and full of lies as a kid as he is later in life as president.
This was a great read and a good escape from reality.
