For America, I expect her to be plain. Many times in the book, she is not viewed as the prettiest and continuously refuses to wear too much makeup or dress too fancy. Maybe in "The One", she will change her mind in order for the public to view her as the gorgeous girl her family, Aspen, Maxon, and many people see. I hope not. I like her stubborn ways! :)
Extremely excited about "The One" but having to wait one year ?

Oliver Cheshire as Maxon and as for America, I have the slightest clue! o: I found her on Tumblr and they didn't state her name. |: I KNOW! I am disappointed that they are waiting so long to release it! /: BUT- it will definitely be worth it! ;D
How about molly quinn as America?Also, don't forget that Maxon has honey colored hair. But I guess its not tht hard to dye it. But Oliver Cheshire is a model not an actor. What if he doesn't have any acting abilities :(

William Moseley (I like him but he is 26. However, it's not like Hollywood hasn't used older actors to portray teenagers.)
Jeremy Sumpter (Dye his hair and put him in a suit, I could see it)
Freddie Stroma (He is stuck in the middle. He can look older or he can look younger.)
I am not sure about Molly Quinn. It seems she, to me, would not fit the part. Though, at the same time, she could. I think if she were picked, it would not cause an uproar nor would it be a perfect match. It would be one of those things were fans may not see it until she played the part. Then, she would become a favorite! :) Some fans have already considered her. Thumbs up!
I know |: I found several models that would be a perfect Maxon but do not have any history in acting. /: I would like to see unknown actors/actresses play in The Selection. That would be cool! :)
Some people are considering the main characters PLL to play some parts. I couldn't see it. Maybe one but all? No way.

Out of the three you listed, I could totally see William Moseley play Maxon. Jeremy Sumpter would also be good, but Freddie Stroma didn't really click with me.
Are they making a movie?
I 90% see William Moseley play Maxon. He seems the best fit, anyways. I just hope whoever they pick is not uber famous. Such as Zac Efron. He is on some's heart throb lists for Maxon.CW was going to pick it up but decided against it.
I do see it happening in the future though! :)
NO i wouldn't want Zac Efron. He doesn't strike me as a Maxon or Aspen. I do hope a movie is made. Even though many movies are extremely different, I always watch the movies of books I like.

I ealy wanted Feddie stroma to be Prince maxon. He has his Princes like features and looks like a gentleman. When I watched his movie ' The Cinderella story', i can see some of Prince Maxon's gestures in him . :) He is very handsome.

Maxon is Oliver Cheshire. He is such a cutie!And so is Freddie Stroma. Even though I could picture both, the two are in their middle 20's and if they turned it into a show or movie, I would hope they would pick someone closer to the actual age.

The first girl has dark green/hazel eyes. :) Very hard to see, but she does. I tried to find a girl with light green but most people I found, came off too girly in my opinion. CW was going to pick it up but unfortunately, decided against it.

Yeah, they still look good to play the part. The first girl with hazel eyes and the guy for maxon. who would play aspen, though?
