bookshelves: weird

One of those books that is more fun in retrospect than while you are reading it. It does drag a bit. And the retrospective fun is all about the questions that are never ever answered. Which is why this is a member of the category weird rather than horror, and certainly not sci-fi, nevermind the centers, marine biologists and engineers and submarines.

Still, if you like the weird and the suggestive and the hypothetical, not to mention disconcerting things in bathtubs and gorgeous cliffside houses, it is worth a read :)

I found it through a review by s.penkevich.

s.penkevich Yay, glad you read it! I agree though, probably one I liked thinking about more than actually reading now that you mention it .

Lisa Of course I read it, and thank you for bringing it to all our attention!
