โ� looking back on the entire trilogy, i think this one might honestly be by favorite.. while wicked king is definitely a close second, i zooooomed through this one. the pages were literally eating me alive one by one. once again, I loved Holly Blacks writing. it was beautiful world building and an enticing story.

I feel like it was very apparent that Cardan loved Jude, so Jude being ready to risk it all just for Cardan was amazing. It set in stone that the love went both ways, theyโd die for each other and kill for each other.
Anyway. I remember crying for hours about the world of elfame coming to an end, and then I found out that the author was writing a spin off about Oak and some blue girl whoโs name Iโll remember at some point. I will in fact read the spin off solely for Jude and Cardan!

I feel like it was very apparent that Cardan loved Jude, so Jude being ready to risk it all just for Cardan was amazing. It set in stone that the love went both ways, theyโd die for each other and kill for each other.
Anyway. I remember crying for hours about the world of elfame coming to an end, and then I found out that the author was writing a spin off about Oak and some blue girl whoโs name Iโll remember at some point. I will in fact read the spin off solely for Jude and Cardan!
