The Other Boleyn Girl (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels, #9)

I'm not a big fan of a historical fiction about royalty but Anne Boleyn has been always extremely fascinating. Too bad here her character is degraded to a greedy, selfish victim of her own ambitions.
And, no matter how appropriate those things were at that time, I couldn’t stop cringing over the fact that Mary was just a teenager while being a king's mistress.
Also, I expected more palace intrigues, but here all the plotting is who going to put his daughter into the king's bed first. Author could really have done better with all the historical material.

Thank you, Routh 😊 Tudors are really fascinating!

well, I still often fall into this trap😅😂

Yes, I've read Wolf Hall and it was really good, but can't say I enjoyed it much - maybe cos I didn't like Cromwell's character...
