This read left me speechless at the end!
I went in to this book completely blind after reading the last 2 series by India��.. which I must say was great idea on my part


Maverick Hutton �� had already too much on his plate, and he was just trying to survive. This young man had it all at his young age of sixteen and he felt immortal. ……He already had a college scholarship lined up and a hot girlfriend on his arm �� But one tragic night changed everything��..
Anyone who has been awakened at three in the morning by a knock at the door knows how god-awful it can be.

After that tragic night. And his mother fell apart Maverick became his younger sister’s surrogate parent.

I don’t think it’s possible to hate someone you love�� I should. I should tell�� I should scream! But I can’t. I love him…�� these words Echoed in the back of my mind. Throughout the book��
I must say this book had so many moving parts to it, and when Maverick and his family made the decision to start over in a new town, this book felt like it was going to be slow burn for hot second……��. But, Throughout the book , we had Little bits and pieces about each ones Tragedy.

What an unlikely looking crew. There was Vixen, who oozed sex appeal. Bryce was a skinny, nerdy dude who somehow reaped Vixen’s rewards. Cole was a good old country boy who lived in his beat-up cowboy boots. Houston was a lanky and awkwardly funny guy—who was trapped with the devil, otherwise known as Adele. Nash and Nelson were, according to V, “double the pleasure.�� Jaz was a little pixie-looking girl who seemed to sprinkle happy dust wherever she went. Delilah was our own personal beauty queen who almost hated the fact that she was above average. And the ridiculous, rugged version of a jock was Maverick, rounding out their versatile group.

I’ll be heading back on that Haunted Roads to the next installment right away �� So don’t be surprised to find my nose in the next book
