Ruth Tell Tracy thanks.

Glad to see you agree, K.

jo i read this when i was a teenager and i remember trying SO VERY HARD to embrace with my whole being the wisdom that OBVIOUSLY was contained in its words, only to forget them the moment i closed the book. i'm being unfair. some scenes stayed with me. but none, not a single one, taught me one damn thing about living better or being happier or whatever it is that books like this are meant to teach.

Sandi I need a Total Crap bookshelf. This book would be on it right next to "Love Story".

I don't think I really needed to be reminded of this book.

Yes, but have you heard the Neil Diamond soundtrack with the same title? Pure gold.

message 5: by Jan (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jan Yeah, but when I was eleven I really dug it, especially the transparencies of the seagull flying.

Sudheer Couldn't have said it in simpler words

Shauna Elasmar this book inspired me to look up the scientific terms relating to flight and it was a great modern fairy tale

Kelly (Maybedog) Perfect review.

I copied it into mine while linking to it. I would only have put the one line but your review is only one line. Please let me know if that's not okay. Here's my review.

Colin Mcconnell Exactly how I feel.
