i read this when i was a teenager and i remember trying SO VERY HARD to embrace with my whole being the wisdom that OBVIOUSLY was contained in its words, only to forget them the moment i closed the book. i'm being unfair. some scenes stayed with me. but none, not a single one, taught me one damn thing about living better or being happier or whatever it is that books like this are meant to teach.
I need a Total Crap bookshelf. This book would be on it right next to "Love Story".I don't think I really needed to be reminded of this book.
