Pines (Wayward Pines, #1)

3,5 rounded down. This wasn’t bad. It was different enough to make it stand out from my typical reads. I felt a lot of confusion though, which might have been intensional, since you grappled for answers. But I guess the confusion got a bit too much, not knowing what was real. There was a lot to like however, so if you’re into books like recursion and dark matter this is a good choice!

Thanks for your candid thoughts, Nina. I have an off and on relationship with Crouch's books for the same reasons.
