0.5 star, there's no way in hell I'll give this book more.

Take my words, Colleen Houck totally fails as an 'author', she offers us nothing bout cardboard cutout characters, empty headed heroine who seems to have no thought of her own, uninteresting and unrealistic dreamboat love interests, supporting character (Mr. Kadam) who's only there for the inform dump and being an all-knowing, all-useful plot device.

Beside all these, we also get a silly, painful-to-look-at love triangle--when one of the brothers is captured---and being tortured nonstop, the other brother still has the guts to flirt and make out with the captured brother's girlfriend. And before that happens, the 'heroine' somehow manages to date three different guys at once, and none of the guy thinks that's a problem with her dating so many fellows.

The main character Kelsey, for most of the time she doesn't even look and feel like an real person to me. Remember she supposedly had lost her parents? But you wouldn't know it by reading Tiger's Quest, for Kelsey never spent a second to think about her late parents. Instead at the first half of the book, all Kelsey thought about is Ren and her three different dates. *sighs*

And Kelsey was faced with Goddess Durga and all the Eastern mythology, the belief of reincarnations and stuff, those new experience and knowledge never provoked her to think about life and death, the meaning of life and the world she lived in. All she thought about is still her boyfriend. *sighs*

I mean, Kelsey met a Goddess in person, but she never ever bothered to ask the Goddess: "Have you seen my mom and dad? Are they alright now?"

I mean, even Zoey Redbird from the House of Night series, bothered to ask her Goddess what had happened to her late mother after she was murdered!

KELSEY, ARE YOU FOR REAL?

As to the quest to find one of Goddess Durga's holy objects which takes up most of the book, DON'T GET ME STARTED WITH IT! For the whole time I feel like I'm trapped in the freaking Disneyland when Kishan and Kelsey are on their quest.

Also, don't ever get me started with how Houck bastardized the Hindus myth and mixed it up with those Greek mythical figures and fairies and shit.

During the whole progress of reading, I kept asking myself: "Why am I doing this to myself!?" Reading this book is so painful, so unbearable an experience, I kept turning pages just to get the whole thing over with. It's that bad.

You know what? I had gone through five of the Twilight books before, but right now I'm not one bit certain that I can survive the next book...

Skye Samson she is a great author keep crap to your self you dont like it fine but dont talk crap cause you dont like it other people do

Mizuki another angry fan of Houck who says people should shut up, how mature.

Mizuki Oliver wrote: "I love how these pissed off fans are telling you not to post a negative review on a site literally made for posting reviews. Holy fuck."

How I wish I can tell Colleen Houck to keep her craps to herself like some of her fans had told me to, Oliver. Those fans amuse me to no end.

Zeynab Nour Okay Mizuki...now it's official you are my hero!
How were you able to read the whole book?! I still don't understand how these books have been released! I mean...you've already said everything that needs to be said. The plot is ridiculous, the characters(can they even be considered as characters?)are noninteresting, as ignorant as the person who invented them. Ren and Kishan are supposed to be 300 year-old indian princes yet they talk like every generic american teenager! And i also loved when Ren said that his father was Indian but his mother was Asian! Really? She said she spent a lot of time on Google maps but she didn't see that India was IN asia? And what does that mean? It's like saying "My Dad is French but my Mom is European...) Sigh...It's sad because I don't think she realises how racist her books are. She's too ignorant for that.
The first book was atrocious but it was the first book Colleen Houck ever wrote so I just blamed her lack of experience. And the fact that she didn't have an editor might explain why the book was that bad. So I tried to read the second, thinking that maybe she would improve herself. But no,it was worse! To the point that I couldn't even finish it. I really don't understand the people who loved these books so I'm happy to see someone who shares my opinion. Really your deserve a medal!(And btw your reactions were hilarious!)

Mizuki Thanks for the long comment Zeynab, from what I heard the first book of this Tiger's series was self published and that can partly explain why this book is so stupid, but later Houck got signed and supposedly there's an *Indian editor* helping her, when I first heard that I was like: "God, humanity must have hit the rock bottom."

Yes, don't get me started with Houck doing 'research' on Google Map and Wiki, what she had done is a big insult to all authors who had done good research for their books.

Ren and Kishan are supposed to be 300 year-old indian princes yet they talk like every generic american teenager! And i also loved when Ren said that his father was Indian but his mother was Asian! Really?

If you read further into the series you would find out the Arch Villain is just the same, he's supposed to be 1000 or 800 or so years old (born in the Chinese's Three Kingdoms Era) but yet he's so stupid and even Kelsey can trick him.

I won't suggest anyone to continue reading this series. At least not to anyone who has common sense and basic knowledge about Asian cultures and India.

Sienna My mum thinks I like it but really, I agree with all of you.

Mizuki thanks

Naia Bennett Tigers quest was the worst book in the series but her other books are really good.

I read all of the four books, sadly the series doesn't get better.

Maite Lív 1. I understand you don't like the book, not everybody does.
2. Saying that she fails as an author is to much. You can try do better 😉
3. The book is a teenager fantasy. Probably just creative and smart people understand.
4. Everyone can have a opinion. For me.. The book is great 😊

Mizuki Write your own review and explain to everyone why you think this book is great. In another words, take your creative and smart stuff elsewhere instead of expressing your creative and smart suff under my review.

Have a creative and smart day all you like.
