I'm outside of the target audience for this book by about 30+ years but still found it hilarious. I mean, I love everything that Neil Gaiman writes so this isn't entirely unexpected, but I'm actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it considering it's a middle grade novel. It's kind of a
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
for children, minus the towels and with some dinosaurs and pirates and a time machine hot air balloon ... or, err, Floaty-Ball-Person-Carrier. I listened to this on audiobook but I'm planning to grab the ebook from the library for my son. He's going to love it!

Thank you, Krystal! It's such a fun story. 🙂

Yes, definitely! Gaiman's children's novels are always a good time!

Thanks, Jodi! Yes, indeed. 😀 My son is a huge graphic novel fan, which is great, but I'm always trying to get him to read more chapter books too (with limited success). 😆

Thanks so much, Mon! It's pretty silly but surprisingly enjoyable for a middle grade novel. I'm a Neil Gaiman fangirl, though, so I might be a little biased. 😀

Thank you, Thibault! I will happily read everything Neil Gaiman writes - including his children's books - no matter how old I am. 😀
