How can I start explaining what’s like reading this book? I felt like screaming half of the time, screaming at them for making bad decisions, screaming at every declaration of love, every time they showed me they are each other’s endgame yet kept putting obstacles in the way.
They lied, manipulated each other, only because their own problems were blinding them, telling them that’s the best for the other, the best to keep being happy as nothing is happening. I can’t think of the last time a book made me feel so lucky, so happy only to get my heart shattered in pieces. The best part about this series is that you are following flawed characters, people who commit mistakes and do things wrong yet the reasons behind their actions are so understandable you can’t help but suffer along with them, keep following them even if you know it’s the recipe for disaster.
The only small thing I would have changed is something that Dom does. I didn't see the point of hurting someone when he could have done anything else instead. While I get that Dom may not be at his best, it still didn't make sense for me other than being a plot device necessary for what was yet to come.
As for the mystery, there has only been a suspect on my mind since book one and it’s starting to give me anxiety how much they keep fitting as the story progresses. It’s such a wild guess I feel a bit dump just thinking about it, so let me hide the name until I reach book 5 and the author confirms I’m crazy, and then you can laugh at my expense.
 Seven of Spades:
1. Kill Game: 4.5 stars
2. Trick Roller: 4 stars
3. Cash Plays: 4.75 stars
4. One-Eyed Royals: 4 stars
5.A Chip and a Chair: 3 stars

"You say I put you in a pedestal, Dominic, but you do that to yourself just as much. You can't stand for anyone to see you as anything other than this happy shiny image you project."
