Oh man, am I disappointed.
My two stars go to Slade in acting his revenge and Malina's story.
Other than that, I hated it.
And I really wish I didn't.
Auren and Slade don't reunite for this entire 644 paged book. Such a joke, plus new plotlines have been created for Auren. Why?
And the ending, having her memories all wiped. That's like the worst trope. Ugh.
It's annoying because I've read this far and absolutely loved the first 3 books but that's where it should've ended. I've come this far, I can make it to the end, right?

Yup. So frustrating. I almost didn’t finish it, the other books I couldn’t put down, this one I had a hard time picking back up. Made me so sad. Definitely not as excited for the next one, especially after that ending.

Awful awful book! I’m utterly disappointed
I agree Kris. I'm not excited about the next book but surely Slade and Auren will reunite? That's one thing to look forward to - plus, it would be good to see Malina and Auren maybe work things out. But who knows.Maybe we skip the first half where Auren clearly has no memories.

OMFG Thank you thank you thank you for writing this review. I felt EXACTLY the same way. The first three books I feel like are some of my favorite books of all time but this was SO disappointing. It broke my heart.
Memory wiping is THE WORST WAY to end a book.
Erianna, so glad I'm not alone. I saw some high reviews and some people on BookTok raving about it and I was so disappointed when I was reading it. It's not memorable in the slightest.
I HATED Malina and now I DESPISE her even more, she is NOT interesting at all! Who cares?!?! And her in a sex scene 🤮 so so gross. I could go on and on�.awful and I’m super pissed I had to purchase this book
I want to love Malina but the scene with her getting it on while her kingdom is slaughter was actually the worst. I almost DNFd right there
