this book was great. the storyline and characters were so enjoyable and i flew through it (when i actually read some pages 🙄). the setting was gorgeous and immersive, i really felt there.

i loved this girl. she was so powerful and (VERY) full of herself at times but i got over that. her character really built up and she got a lot more personal. her personality improved ✨quite a bit�� and i super loved it. she had a lot of determination which was great but it also clouded her judgement at times. the trials were sooo fun and i enjoyed the competitors that helped her (that one poison guy right?).
i know she gets better later in the series so 😁

/dorian/
dorian is amazing but so awkward like what 😭 uhh yeah i think he’s great and i root for him but he made stupid decisions and him and celaena together fit but was also weird�� it didn’t feel right. it was forced and immature to me. although that dog was super cute!!

he is my fav. literally yes. i ship him with celaena more than dorian tbh 😤 they are so much cuter and the relationship feels more natural. chaol’s personality is so attractive though!!! he’s so charismatic and hilarious ❤️❤️ PERFECT FOR CELAENA!!!!

overall great book!!! can’t wait to read the next one on my kindle hehe 😚🥰
