** spoiler alert ** Another great series has come to an end.

Awaiting is the fourth and final book in the Royalty Series by Nicole Pyland. This book was a low angst, opposites attract, romance that had me hooked from the opening flashback scene. Alex and Bexley's story is one I have been looking forward to reading.

The chemistry and progression of the relationship between Alex and Bexley felt very organic and not rushed. The pace of the story gave them both a chance to really get to know one another and see beyond any first impressions they may have had from when they met in the previous book.

I like how Bexley helps Alex to overcome her self-doubt and helps her to realise that her parents have never had any regrets about her being the first born and, therefore, the future monarch. In the same way Alex is just as supportive towards Bexley when she is struggling with the transition period of doing more admin and teaching then being with patients, and also having to deal with her aging grandmother and the struggles that accompany that.

Like books 2 and 3 in this series, this book has some scenes with the main couples from the previous books. I really appreciate that Nicole has done this as it allows the reader the chance to catch up on where life has taken the other couples. This book was a great finale to the series and is definitely tied as my favourite in the series.
