4.30!!
"My goal, once upon a time, was to succeed. I didn’t realize that success wasn’t grades or scholarships or achievements, but the people I was lucky enough to have in my life.
What is that? am i starting to like the accidental pregnancy trope...😨
Elle Kennedy is one of the best romance authors out there because she can tackle any trope, shape it and present it to us in such a beautiful way that you are bound to fall in love with it and that was the case for 'The Goal' because Accidental pregnancy is one of the worst no scratch that it is the worst trope ever to exist and this book made me like it so much. Elle Kennedy writes with such wit and magnificence.
“You’re the only one for me.
My sun rises and sets on your smile.
My heart beats because yours does.
Tucker how did you manage to charm me? because I went in feeling nothing for him and the things that he said, the way he acted and the things that he did for Sabrina made me fumble and fall so bad for him and that man could cook. I honestly want him to make me something because everyone praises him so much and I just want something good to eat!
“We all hurt. We all love. We’re the same. And your past, who you live with, where you came from, it doesn’t have to matter. You’re creating your own future, and I want to see where the road forward takes you.
Sabrina was one of the only characters that I hated in this series but this book changed that and it is also why authors SHOULD give side characters their own POV. Sabrina went through a lot and she put up with so much with so much and not everyone can do that and god knows I cant. Her step father was so fucking disgusting I wanted to gag and living their made her turn her wish into a goal and she only strived there to achieve that which I believe was so strong. Her guilt was so beautifully captured, her not thinking she was good enough to deserve Tuckers love and how it changed was what made like this book so much!
“Because love is the ultimate goal. It’s not the one I had strived for, but I was lucky enough, so damn lucky, to achieve it.
The romance was *chefs kiss* Tucker was both a perfect dad and a perfect boyfriend. He gave up so much for Sabrina and did not look back once, he stood up for her and made her feel loved and Sabrina was also a really good girlfriend because she held tucker so highly in her eyes and loved him so much + I loved the communication between them. Alsooo the smut in this book was so hot! like omg the mouth that tucker had..it was honestly one of the hottest things I have ever read.
Overall, I am very happy that I read it and now I can finally complete the series!

This is the first time I am reading this and I am honestly so scared..it has accidental pregnancy and I dont like sabrina but lets pray that I at least enjoy it if not love it...
