This isn’t the type of book I would usually read but Georgia recommended it. She said it was about hope. And that it was the type of book that you reflect on.
I can say that both those statements are accurate. I felt the main character’s hope the whole way through. There were many moments where I felt panic set in when imagining the world she was describing.
I want to reflect more on the last line, it feels significant but I don’t understand it yet.
I enjoyed the emphasis on sisterhood and community.
I devoured this book which is odd for me.
