I don't think this one was the best in the series. It rather came across as messy and lacking substance. The author tried to do much with it but at the same time, nothing with it 😅

✅What I liked-

1. Kenji and Aaron pov- These two carried the book for me. Their pov brought life to the book and their banter was hilarious as always.

2. The plot twists and reveals- Some of the things I did not see coming at all. Like a certain character who was gone 👀 That reveal had me shook.

3. The romance- It was yet again Aaron contributing most to that angst and love. Occasionally it was good to see Juliette realise she loves Aaron too.

4. The ending- It was super sweet, I liked it.

❌What I didn't like-

1. The writing- It was dull and messy. The author had no direction and the plot development was weak. Didn't seem the odds were THAT high tbh.

2. The flashbacks- I simply hated it. Like I get they were included for sentimental value but it did nothing for me and I hated putting myself through that. It was torturous.

3. Juliette and her pov- Wasn't she supposed to get a hold of herself by the end of Restore Me? Just when I start to understand her, the author pushes her ten steps back. Idk what to think of this new Juliette, I don't know her at all. It's been 5 books and she is not improving.

Overall, unfortunately a tedious read. I believe the series should have ended after Ignite Me. There I said it 😭
