really liked it

emails never find me well.

i expected this to be a sarcastic dry funny edgy book. instead it is a kind sweet corny kinda cringey occasionally funny book. and it turns out i'll take that trade!

i caught myself teary eyed (?!) at the nice moments at the end of this, and even if it felt unrealistic and a bit much in parts, it's also the book kind of therapy where everything starts bad and then ends magically. so i'll take it.

bottom line: feeling: well.

(thanks to the publisher for the e-arc)

Janice Uybarreta Loved this book but not the ending, not believable in my opinion. But, wowza for a debut author, this is a gem and reminds us that everyone (even our most annoying co-workers) may be going through hard times.
Most are Forced to present happy work faces while feeling lost in a competitive environment of cubicle hell.
Laughed out loud at some scenes and loved it because good people still win at the end of the day
