** spoiler alert ** IDK HOW TO FEEL

ok I think I am settled on 4 stars. I love my girl Auren, but it was a very interesting choice to keep her and Slade apart for the entireee book and introduce a bunch of new characters in Auren's chapters instead. I found myself not as interested when it came to Auren's pov as I usually am and I was rushing through her chapters to find out what was happening with the rest of the characters. I loved Slade and Osrik's chapters and surprisingly, Malina's chapters were my favorite?! I hope we get more of her in the finale or even a novella after! The sisters showing up at the end with just the right magic to heal Rissa milliseconds before she died was a little much, but I am glad she survived so I guesss it's ok. Also, I AM rooting for her and Osrik but they had like two scenes in the previous book and somehow he's already in love. ok. Anyway, I am super excited yet nervous for the next book! With the way Gold ended, I am very curious to see where the next leads to, but I have high hopes Kennedy does her series justice and wraps things up well.

the more I think about the way book 5 ended, the more worried I get that book 6 is going to do too much and not have a satisfying endinggg!

j Agree like I feel like she left way too much open to be resolved in 1 book like she defined should have done a different ending because now there's so much to be developed/explored and with the next book saying it will be 480 pages rather than 680 (like this book) I feel like there's no time to properly look into the repercussions of the ending and I feel like it's going to be healed really quickly rather than realistically if that makes sense

omg yeah! :/ like yes it's the finale so it's going to be something huge, but this is something huge and new?? yikes! if auren and slade don't have a proper & real reunion within two seconds of book 6 i'll riot
