Everyone was off their rocker the first half of this book. I love the romances that are forming and pray that those are explored in detail asap as possible. I was on the edge of my seat for the last 100 pages. Overall enjoyed this thoroughly but found it slightly underwhelming compared to Heir of Fire.

Living laughing and loving the experience of watching you read these. Things basically explode after this. 5, 6 and 7 are the best books of SJM’s career in my opinion (other than Mist and Fury, and CC1). Please don’t tandem read!! The stories of 5 & 6 hold up on their own and are more powerful separate- but also maybe I’m biased because Tower of Dawn is my absolute favorite book of the series�? It’s so well done and I could cry just thinking about it.

I’m with Katelyn! Tower of dawn was my fav of the series along with Heir of Fire so I say read separately to enjoy the books as their own entity!

I'm on the tandem read as well! Warning there are VERY long spans between POVs, so it's a bit hard to get into, and I'm finding that I'm forgetting the storylines.
